Application Technology Engineer

Location: Bozhou, Anhui province, China

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Pre-sales

1) Form an OFC team with the sales team to support the client to switch, test, train and promote new products. Complete new customer introduction together with sales.

2) Follow up projects from an operational perspective. 

2. Finger Print

1) Colour matching and spot colour formula creation to meet customers’ requirements.

2) Guide the performance verification of products in the laboratory, and assist in the production of new products and process control in the workshop.

3) Formulate QC parameter standards according to customer product application requirements, and assist in quality control.

4) Optimize, guide and promote the product application.

3. Technical Service

1) Support BU sales/Technology strategy and objectives.

2) Continuously pay attention to the local market and competitors' trends from a technical perspective, and provide effective suggestions to respond to the needs of the market and customers.

3) Efficient and effective customer technical support in regard to applications and solutions. Cooperate with application technology team, sales team and R&D team to provide application recommendations and technical solutions according to customer needs. 

4) Trouble shooting on line. Handle customer complaint and resolve quality issue at customer sites to minimize financial impact to our business. 

5) Support internal and external technical discussion, product training and product promotion.

4. Others

1) Raise AT relevant reports efficiently and timely per request: monthly report, visit report and other assigned work report. 

2) Use digital working tools during daily work, i.e. Sales Funnel, Ink-portal, SAP, office 365, ink formulation 6…etc. 

Requirements:
1. Technical secondary school/ High school or above in printing, chemistry and machinery relevant industry. 
2. At least 5 years of working experience in printing ink related industries.
3. Be good at offset printing, UV ink, and master various printing applications; Understand how to solve printing problems of offset. Familiar with flexography /letterpress/ gravure printing is a plus. 
4. Ability to adjust spot color ink formula.
5. Good communication & problem solving ability and team spirit.
6. Good computer office skills (word/excel/ppt).
7. Hardworking, able to accept frequent business trips (80%).
