Manager, Commercial Excellence and Key Account Management

Job Responsibilities

 

Marketing Strategy
•    Collaboration on industry trade shows and conferences
•    Market analytics and market trending
•    Product strategy leadership including marketing and sales 
•    Development and execution of marketing programs, product positioning strategies and product launches

 

Pricing Policies and Procedures

 

•    Oversight of pricing including conditions, rebates, opportunity model and understanding of financial concepts.
•    Coordinate pricing model for large proposals and bids
•    Creation and management of service programs

 

Business Development/ Key Account Management

 

•    Collaboration with global and cross/division counterparts to identify, evaluate and guide the execution of business opportunities
•    Participation with leadership team functions/responsibilities
•    Collaboration with RSMs and Sales Team to drive business development processes to the customer level
•    Development of sales tools and trainings
•    Sales pipeline process and biweekly cadence calls with sales team by region; review with each sales rep the list of opportunities by stage, pending action, challenges
•    Sales reports and distribution related to Key Account Management on a Regional basis
•    Special projects/duties as assigned

 

Project Transition Management

 

•    Works with the Regional Technical Manager and the Regional Sales Manager to coordinate and structure the customer transition team
•    Responsible for scheduling and conducting a site evaluation to ensure project activities are accurately executed to meet company and customer process standards, directives and requirements for Key Account Management of assigned Key Account.
•    Effectively utilizes project management methodology for the end to end management of transition plans
•    Prepares project plans, Gantt charts, resource plans, financial evaluations, analysis and other documents required by the project while tracking deliverables, and updating of project plans (including schedule and milestones)
•    Provides regular status reports and updates to stakeholders and the project team. Management of external vendors and service providers to ensure equipment and services are provided at the appropriate levels. 
•    Utilizes, but is not limited to, the proceeding stepwise outline as a general template for managing successful customer transition. 


Education and Experience

 

Bachelor of Science Degree – preferably in a technical area (Engineering and similar technical undergraduate degree), Master of Business Administration (MBA) highly preferred. At least five years of experience in sales role.  Experience in water based and UV technology and associated elements of the flexo printing industry.

•    Exhibit strong leadership skills with a track record of sales and marketing achievements
•    Ability to manage multiple projects with creativity and passion for achieving business success
•    Strong strategic, analytical and communication/presentation skills
•    Ability to analyze and interpret moderately complex results. 
•    Excellent teamwork and good communication skills – both verbal and written
•    The incumbent must be flexible, in terms of being able to handle changing requirements, as internal or external customer needs change. 
•    Basic computer skills, e.g., Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point and CRM, needed.
