Located in our Headquarter in Siegburg, you will be strongly involved for our international SAP Projects in the area of Finance & Controlling, provide 3rd Level support and be part of our demand & improvement process. Further on you define IT solution proposals and strategies, gather business requirements and write detailed functional and technical specifications.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

 

  • Be part of an international SAP Team within the Solution, Design and Delivery department based in Siegburg
  • Ability to manage project requirements and business demands in Controlling area
  • Take ownership for requirements and tasks in regards to SAP Controlling.
  • Be part of a team and also manage implementation projects in a customer facing role
  • Provide 3rd  Level Support & Key User Training
  • Design and customize solutions for SAP business processes in the area of Controlling in relationship with our Business departments
  • Report to Business- and IT-Management

 

 Position Requirements/Qualifications:

 

  • Requires a minimum of 5+ year’s related experience. Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree.
  • Ideally 3 or more full cycle SAP implementation as solution / functional consultant
  • Completed solution configuration for all areas of own CO sub-domain.
  • Skills required for this role include Material Ledger (Split valuation & Product Costing), legacy Inventory valuation, variance calculations, COPA, Intercompany, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Cost Center Assessments and Distributions. Need to have strong COPA (account & costing based)  and costing experience, standard and actual costing.
  • Very good data flow and analytical skills needed
  • Good integration knowledge in the sub modules SD, MM & PP-PI
  • Working Experience in process industry, especially in the chemical industry is an advantage
  • Good technical knowledge in ABAP & Idoc techniques
  • Leadership experience on SAP implementation projects or production support
  • Self-motivated, focused and able to identify needs and implement solutions with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work and communicate with various levels of management
  • Travel Requirement is about 25-30%
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English are required
