Role Overview
 

Your Tasks – What You can Expect as Head- TSD -India (f/m/d):

  • Developing and sourcing of raw materials (pigments, additives and resins) used in printing inks in alignment with global teams from purchasing and technology development
  • Support global teams in developing supplier strategies
  • Initiation of raw material projects to develop innovative product solutions for inks and coatings
  • Project management of larger development projects with all internal and external stake holders from the first idea to industrial scale
  • Development and maintain network with suppliers, universities and other industrial partners to facility technology know-how exchange and keep up-to-date
  • Continuous evaluation and analysis of new technology trends in the field of raw materials by visiting trade fairs, patent screening, literature search, etc. in order to identify and anticipate industry technology trends
  • Manage project portfolio of TSD India in terms priorities and costs
  • Manage and develop TSD India team
  • Prepare the budget, monitor department expenses and implement corrective actions in the case of deviations.

 

Your Profile – What do You bring as Head- TSD- India (f/m/d):

  • University degree (Master, PhD, ideally with postdoc)
  • Background in organic chemistry
  • Min. 3 - 5 years of experience in industrial R&D and/or application service at a manufacturer of producing raw materials for printing inks and/or coatings (resins, additives or preferably pigments)
  • Very good communication and networking skills
  • Used to work in a matrix organization in cross-functional and -regional teams
  • Experienced in managing and developing a team
  • Open mindset and curious towards emerging technologies
  • Excellent project management skills and target oriented
  • Fluent in English
