Main responsibilities

 

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Manage the product throughout its lifecycle from concept to end-of-life.
  • Write the business case for investments and gain internal approval.
  • Write Product Requirements and Market Requirements documents.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and third parties to assess and establish partnerships.
  • Provide expert advice in the business on the product, the market, relevant technology, and the competition.
  • Develop core positioning and messaging for the product.
  • Provide cost inputs for BU to Set pricing.
  • Monitor, report and improve product performance.
  • Run trials and MVPs, and develop and deliver go-to-market launch plans together with marketing.
  • Promote the product to sales teams through sales training sessions, webinars, newsletters, and other mechanisms.
  • Develop and deliver training to technical sales support.
  • Collate feedback from sales and customers.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in senior-level management meetings.
  • Deliver a regular (e.g. monthly) volume, revenue, and profit report.

 

Qualifications/Competences

 

  • University degree, commercial, technical background
  • Min. 5 years progressive experience in industrial sector, preferable Packaging Industry, Ink & Coatings (in Marketing, Sales, Technology)
  • Good communicator and team builder
  • High energy, passion and commitment to succeed.
