Job Summary
The HR Business Partner advises and assists with implementation of various HR procedures and processes and is knowledgeable in three or more HR disciplines (e.g. recruitment, training, development, C&B, labor relations). May have primary responsibility for implementing or executing a specific HR administrative process.
Responsibilities
Ensure advanced understanding of HR procedures and processes to provide specialized support in affected discipline
Support in development of job profiles and assist in job analysis, and recommend pay adjustments as appropriate
May participate in HR projects such as introducing a new induction program
Coordinate/liaise various HR programs with affected departments
Provide HR support, policy interpretation and advice to employees and line managers, explain policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner
Maintain professional employee records
Participate in the development of HR policies and procedures in order to satisfy legal and organizational requirements
Interact with employees, management and other business associates
Assist clients in defining their HR requirements for recruitment training etc.
Support recruiting and staffing process, training, employee development analysis etc.
Support various HRIS developments
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) with HR related coursework, with 5+ years of professional level HR experience.
Familiarity with HRIS systems and SAP SuccessFactors, strongly preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing, within a multi-site/international diverse company, strongly preferred.
Experience with Canada employee laws and regulations, strongly preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/French/English), strongly preferred.

Knowledge of Federal and State law as it pertains to HR Management, including FLSA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, COBRA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to resolve conflict and knowledge of process improvement is required.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret all new and current employment laws as they relate to all aspects of HR in the US and Canada.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and HRIS systems.
