Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring products, services, and processes meet the established Siegwerk quality and safety standards. The role involves working closely with technology, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to evaluate processes and recommend corrective actions. The role includes analyzing date, investigating root causes of failures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure all processes and products adhere to the Siegwerk quality management system (QMS) and ISO 9001 standard.
- Investigate product or process quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and test plans.
- Analyze quality metrics and data trends to identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and product excellence.
- Perform routine Internal Audits of products and processes to identify defects or deviations from specifications
- Maintain the Document Management System
- Work with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and train employees on quality standards and procedures.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field
- 5+ years in quality assurance or quality control role
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- ISO9001 Standard
- Six Sigma Certification (desired)
- Background in Lean manufacturing environments (desired)
