What You can expect as Technical Team Manager - Flexible Packaging

 

The Technical Team Manager supports development and implementation of standard customer technology applications, solutions and services in coordination with OFC team partner(s) to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve defined business objectives; limited autonomy: operates under supervision of a senior technology function.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient and effective frontline customer technical support under supervision of senior tech function; may attend customers independently in designated area of smaller size.
  • Implement standard technology applications, services and solutions in cooperation with OFC teams to respond to customer requirements.
  • Cooperate with Technology and Analytical laboratory in the development of identified technology solutions to ensure they comply with customer and market needs; may guide section of a laboratory.
  • Conduct continuous local market and competitor observation from the technology perspective and provide input to the development of competitive applications, services and solutions to respond to market and customer needs.
  • Manage projects to provide defined technology solutions, applications and services according to agreed timelines, budgets and standards - monitored by OFC team.
  • Support resolution of technology related customer claims with OFC teams to provide optimized solutions to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately report on above mentioned activities.
  • Deal with external technical partners, market partners and service providers within the area of responsibility as well as cooperate with technology counterparts within the Group.
  • Lead and motivate staff to improve performance and continuously develop professional expertise (as required)
  • Support overall regional/BU sales strategy and objectives.
  • Participate in various inter-company projects including SLOB reduction programs and cost saving projects.
  • Take the role of GMP Coordinator.

 

What do You bring as “Technical Team Manager” - Flexible Packaging

 

  • Minimum 6 year experience
  • Related University degree (e.g. Printing, Chemistry or science)
  • Experience in solvent based flexible packaging ink and printing technologies is advantage
  • Experience in team management and in research and development
  • Experience in complex project management
  • Good knowledge of raw materials used in inks and coatings
  • Good communicator, team player, dynamic, goal oriented, highly flexible and hardworking,
  • Ability to come up to speed quickly on new techniques/processes to work independently in a fast-paced environment,
  • Very good level in both written and verbal English,
  • Driving license and no obstacle for travel domestically and internationally.
