Your Profile – What do You bring as Logistics & Warehouses Executive?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale logistics and warehousing operations.

Your Tasks – What You can expect as Logistics & Warehouses Executive?

  • Ensure the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods
  • Ensure staff resources are planned based upon changing needs
  • Ensure to use industry/logistics best practices to identify new and/or unique programs to differentiate from the marketplace and drive customer satisfaction
  • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment or frequency
  • Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, training or safety records
  • Analyze data to allow for monitoring performance and plan any necessary improvements
  • Develop the business as needed by analyzing logistical problems and developing new solutions
  • Negotiate with customers and suppliers
  • Human resource development activities, such as developing and implementing training concepts
  • Support management team of respective SCM-Unit in the development and implementation of SCM-Strategies and projects
  • Effectively manage the receipt, storage, packaging, loading and shipping of products to customers
  • Ensure costs are managed through productivity of personnel, efficient usage of storage space and protection of stored material
  • Ensure inventory records are maintained, cost accounting
  • Ensure cause(s) of product losses are identified and corrective actions are taken
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Makes recommendations for warehouse/material handling equipment needs and replacement
  • Provide training; supervise and appraise staff
  • Manage budgets
