Your Tasks – What You can expect as Production Engineer?

  • Plan and ensure availability of raw materials, packaging, intermediates, and finished goods to meet production needs.
  • Optimize resource utilization to prevent bottlenecks and ensure smooth operations.
  • Recommend and implement improvements, standardizations, and developments in production processes.
  • Manage inventory levels effectively to support production and minimize waste.
  • Propose and monitor internal supply chain KPIs (e.g., Days Inventory Outstanding - DIO).
  • Handle operational purchasing of direct materials and ensure timely procurement.
  • Process orders in compliance with established procedures and company policies.
  • Support budget preparation for the production area and monitor adherence.
  • Introduce and manage phase-in/phase-out systems to streamline internal material processes.
  • Lead small-scale projects or support larger initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, quality, or safety.
  • Evaluate suppliers and drive continuous improvement in their delivery performance (if applicable).
  • Manage purchasing of indirect materials (if applicable).
  • Collaborate with production, supply chain, and business units to resolve capacity planning issues.
  • Support supply chain management in achieving strategic and operational goals.

 

Your Profile – What do You bring as Production Engineer?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in production planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
