Your Profile – What do You bring as Warehouses & Logistics Executive?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Foreign Trade, International Affairs or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale logistics and warehousing operations.
Your Tasks – What You can expect as Warehouses & Logistics Executive?
- Oversee all transportation activities, including inbound and outbound logistics, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Ensure effective coordination between various departments, including procurement, foreign trade, production, and sales, to streamline logistics processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper storage and handling of materials in the warehouses.
- Ensure the quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
- Ensure staff resources are planned based upon changing needs.
- Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
- Manage 3PL service providers (transportation and W/H) effectively.
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, training, or safety records.
- Support the management team of the respective SCM-Unit in the development and implementation of SCM strategies and projects.
- Effectively manage the receipt, storage, packaging, loading, and shipping of products to customers.
- Ensure costs are managed through productivity of personnel, efficient usage of storage space, and protection of stored material.
- Ensure inventory records are maintained and cost accounting is accurate.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Make recommendations for warehouse/material handling equipment needs and replacement.
