Role and responsibilities

 

  • Project management: Develop, manage and oversee the design and execution of comprehensive integration roadmaps; including governance structures, milestones, and performance indicators across all workstreams. 

  • Project team management: Lead cross-functional project teams in designing and implementing robust integration strategies.  

  • Strategic planning: Develop and manage detailed integration project plans, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.  

  • Budget management: Ensure disciplined financial oversight, managing integration budgets and optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI and cost efficiency. 

  • Internal liaison: Act as a vital liaison between merging entities, fostering clear communication and addressing challenges proactively, including HR, IT, Finance, and Operations. 

  • Risk management: Identify potential integration risks and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth transition.  

  • Change management: Champion change management initiatives to help employees adapt to new processes and cultures.  

  • Compliance: Ensure all integration activities comply with regulatory and corporate policies. 

  • System harmonization: Lead systems harmonization and workflow standardization, ensuring operational scalability and digital readiness across the combined entity. 

 

Your profile 

 

The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized, and resilient professional with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in M&A integration or a related field, preferably at a Tier 1 Management Consultancy. You should possess at a minimum a  Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field, with an MBA or other relevant advanced degree highly preferred.

  • You're knowledgeable in regulatory requirements and compliance within M&A contexts, proficient in project management software and tools, and experienced in budgeting and cost management.  

  • Beyond the technical skills, you are adaptable to changing environments, possess strong business acumen, and are committed to continuous learning, bringing an innovative approach to process improvement and integration methods.
