Your Tasks – What You can expect as Senior Industrialization Engineer?
- Act as the central and accountable contact person for all industrialization and scale‑up activities from laboratory to full‑scale production.
- Serve as the main technical interface for Supply Chain Management (SCM) regarding non‑conforming or rejected batches, root‑cause investigations, and corrective actions.
- Lead and support cost‑saving initiatives, process optimization measures, and Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) in collaboration with SCM and Operations.
- Test, validate, and assess new formulations and process concepts using laboratory‑scale grinding and dispersing equipment.
- Industrialize and implement new formulations and processes on the shop floor together with SCM Process Engineers.
- Plan, execute, and closely monitor scale‑up trials and first industrial batches to ensure stable, reproducible, and efficient production.
- Provide technical support to Technical Development (TD) to ensure smooth transfer of innovations into manufacturing.
- Support Quality Control (QC) in defining and aligning specifications that meet customer and regulatory requirements while remaining realistic and achievable in production.
- Contribute to process standardization, documentation, and knowledge transfer across sites where applicable.
- Actively promote Siegwerk’s standards for safety, sustainability, quality, and operational excellence in all activities.
Your Profile – What do You bring as Senior Industrialization Engineer?
- University degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Professional experience in manufacturing within the coatings, inks, or related process industries (strongly preferred)
- Solid expertise in grinding and dispersing processes, ideally with hands‑on experience in industrial‑scale production environments
- Good understanding of plant equipment, production technologies, and manufacturing process flows
- Proven laboratory experience and confidence in bridging lab‑scale development with industrial reality
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
- A collaborative, hands‑on, and results‑oriented personality with excellent communication skills
- High level of flexibility, resilience, and ownership mentality
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage
