Your tasks - What can you expect as a Senior Data Scientist (f/m/d)?

 

  • Data Analysis & Pattern Recognition: You analyze company data and production trends to optimize ink quality and production efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management: You will identify business use cases and present them and new insights to relevant stakeholders and C-level executives.
  • Development of Predictive Models: You create (AI-supported) forecasts, implement prototypes and support your colleagues (f/m/d) in interpreting the model results in a business context.
  • Data-driven Decision-making: Together with the business partners (f/m/d) you implement algorithms and monitor their performance to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Data Science & Machine Learning: You will work on specific projects to optimize ink quality and production efficiency.

 

Your profile - What do you bring as a Senior Data Scientist (f/m/d)?

 

  • Degree: You have a Master's or PhD degree in physics, statistics, business informatics or similar.
  • Professional experience: You have at least eight years of professional experience in a relevant field, ideally in a similar environment such as production, customer segmentation or supply chains.
  • Communication skills: You are able to present complex data and analysis in an understandable and convincing way, both at management level and in front of technical teams. Your ability to communicate effectively and convince stakeholders is crucial.
  • Technical Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of SQL & Python as well as common BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI to implement business reports and BI solutions  
    • Expertise in cloud and on-premises storage systems & business processes as well as enterprise ERP systems (preferably with SAP, MS SQL Server, SAP BW or Azure Storage Services)
    • Advanced programming skills in languages such as Python & R, especially in the area of AI/ML development
  • Analytical Skills: You are familiar with best practices for analyzing and processing complex data and can communicate the results of potential process optimization scenarios to support business issues in an understandable way, including at management level.
  • Team Player: You are experienced in agile and cross-functional collaboration in an international environment and have excellent communication skills in English and German.
  • Willingness to Learn: You are motivated to constantly acquire new knowledge and develop yourself further.
