Role purpose
The Application Technology Manager ensures development and implementation of customer technology applications, solutions and services with average complexity in coordination with OFC team partner(s) to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve defined business objectives.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure development of innovative technology applications, services and solutions according to OFC teams and customer requirements in line with defined objectives, quality standards and budgets
- Implement technology applications, services and solutions in cooperation with OFC teams to respond to customer requirements
- Ensure development, allocation and management of resources to achieve business targets
- Cooperate with Technology Development, TSD and Analytical laboratory in the development of identified technology solutions to ensure they comply with customer and market needs
- Conduct continuous market and competitor analysis from the technology point of view to ensure the development of competitive applications, services and solutions to respond to market and customer needs
- Efficiently manage projects to provide defined technology solutions, applications and services according to agreed timelines, budgets and standards
- Ensure coordination and resolution of technology related customer claims with OFC teams to provide optimized solutions to maximize customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with PSR rules and quality standards as well as chemical industry standards
- Ensure coordination and control of IAM technology application on a global/regional basis to ensure international accounts have state-of-the-art technology solutions and services
- Lead and motivate staff to improve performance and continuously develop professional expertise
- Support development of overall regional/BU sales strategy and objectives
- Support coordination and participation in various inter-company projects (ex PMI)
To be successful in this role you will need:
- University degree in Chemical, Industrial engineering or related field
- Min. 5 years of comprehensive experience in defined ink technology Industry, coatings, polymers, adhesives.
- Proven experience in product development projects within global scope
- Must have R&D, Application & technical service knowledge
- Team management and high Leadership skills
- Customer & consultancy Service orientation in related industry
- Fluent English - International environment
- Availability to work into a dymamic, hybrid & On Site schema
