Your Title - What You can expect as Global Category Manager Procurement IT (f/m/d)?

 

  • You develop and implement global IT procurement strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives. Identify cost-saving opportunities, risk mitigation, and innovation within the IT procurement category.

  • You establish and maintain relationships with key IT suppliers, manage performance, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions. You define preferred suppliers for recurring demands and develop supplier roadmaps with selected strategic partners. You promote supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives within the category.

  • You analyze market trends, benchmark pricing, and negotiate competitive agreements to optimize IT while ensuring quality and reliability.

  • You identify new sourcing opportunities, conduct market research, and assess potential suppliers to diversify the supply chain and enhance competitiveness.

  • You draft, review, and manage IT procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.

  • You collaborate cross-functionally with IT departments and stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives and IT requirements.

  • You assess and mitigate risks related to IT procurement, ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulations.

 

Your Profile - What do You bring as Global Category Manager Procurement IT (f/m/d)?

 

  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • You have gained more than 3 years experiences in IT procurement or category management on a global scale.

  • You provide strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.

  • You bring excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • You have knowledge of IT products, services, and market trends, familiarity with procurement software and tools.
