Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible contact person for all industrialization / scale-up tasks
  • Responsible contact person for SCM regarding problematic/ rejected batches, cost saving projects, process improvement and CIP projects
  • Test new formulations or processes with lab grinding equipment
  • Implement new formulations or processes on shop floor together with SCM process engineer, incl. the monitoring of scale-up batches
  • Support TD and QC to ensure that QC specifications meet requirements on the one hand and that they are realistic regarding production abilities on the other hand

Requirements :

  • University degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Experience in manufacturing of coatings or ink industry is preferred
  • Good communicator, team player, dynamic, goal oriented, highly flexible and hard worker
  • Good knowledge in grinding & dispersing processes, preferably with profound knowledge of industrial scale production processes
  • Experience/knowledge in plant equipment & manufacturing process flows
  • Experience/knowledge in laboratory work
  • Ability to come up to speed quickly on new techniques/processes to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Good level in both written and verbal English
