Senior R&D Manager

Istanbul
We are seeking a Senior R&D Manager to drive the development of printing inks and coatings for flexible packaging in the EMEA region. The central tasks include the conception and processing of strategically important development projects in close cooperation with colleagues in the areas of purchasing, application technology, sales throughout the EMEA region, as well as in direct cooperation with suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define strategic development goals in coordination with the Technology Leadership Team based on market studies.
- Lead a team of approximately 5 employees.
- Work closely with internal international interfaces and ensure structured and independent creative work.
- Present and report development content up to top management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the chemical industry.
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar. (Preferably MS, Phd degree at chemistry or chemical engineering)
- Excellent communication skills with international interfaces.
- Ability to work independently and creatively.
- Confidence in presenting and reporting development content to top management.
