Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

  • Co-develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to position Siegwerk as a future circular and digital packaging solutions company, taking into account relevant audiences, content development and channels
  • Support the Corporate Communications, CE Hub and SW Ventures teams in planning, executing and monitoring all CE and digitalization related communications projects. Manage campaigns and oversee production processes for marketing and thought leadership collateral for all teams
  • Develop a range of communications,  PR and marketing materials including research, planning, writing and editing content for various media and platforms such as press releases, bylined features, website, presentations, reports, blogs, social media, customer e-newsletters, interviews, speeches, executive briefing materials, position statements, talking points – in close coordination with the Corporate Communications, CE Hub and SW Ventures teams
  • Provide compelling conceptual input to produce digital assets including video/motion-graphics and manage deliverables to communicate SW’s digital and CE positioning and activities
  • Work with event manager from the Corporate Communications team to plan and execute all CE-related events, both internally and externally, such as roadshows, CE action days for employees or INKdays for customers
  • Support the internal change management processes in close cooperation with the CE Hub lead and Global HR

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in journalism, public relations, marketing communications or related field
  • 5-plus years of experience in communications, including demonstrated success in developing and managing communications campaigns and activities to build brand, enhance reputation and achieve business objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in internal and external communications regarding complex issues and topics
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling; strong attention to detail. Ability to find unique angles and opportunities to capture SW’s CE work in a compelling manner for audiences
  • Strong project management skills and experience dealing with multiple demanding stakeholders and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Native or fluent English language skills; proficiency in one or more languages in addition to English, preferably bilingual English/German
  • Team player with a strong ability to network with multiple teams and interact with and have credibility with senior leadership
  • Self-starter, effective problem solver
  • Experience of working in the area of Circular Economy would be a definite plus but is not essential
