Regional & Site Purchasing Manager EMEA (m/f/d)

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Creation and implementation of regional category sourcing strategy for resins and additives

  • Market analysis, identification, initiation and support of strategic raw material suppliers and relationships with them in an international context

  • Independent preparation, execution and conclusion, as well as follow-up of suppliers negotiations to secure and expand Siegwerk’s competitive advantages on international procurement markets

  • Close and continuous coordination of procurement activities with internal stakeholders in the areas of production, technology and scheduling to optimize the demand structure

  • Monitoring of regional raw material savings according to targets as well as coordination with technical development and sourcing team to ensure execution of new material sourcing strategy

  • Continuous development of supplier relationships to secure long-term innovation-driven competitive advantages and evaluation of risks to business including identification of appropriate actions

  • Ensuring supplier information accuracy of negotiated price and price forecast in relevant IT system and taking lead on major claims as well as quality and supply issues, or issues covering multiple sites

  • Driving product alignment and standardization within category aiming for commoditization and complexity reduction


Your Qualifications:


  • Completed studies in business administration, science or engineering

  • Several years of relevant experiences in purchasing or comparable functions

  • Independent and structured working methods in international matrix organizations

  • Negotiating power, strong cost awareness and excellenct communication skills across all hierarchy levels

  • Strong knowledge of Excel, ERP as well as SAP

  • Fluent in English, German would be a plus
